Welcome to my personal site!
I am an experienced biomedical scientist working at the intersection of biomaterials, tissue engineering and developmental biology. I have 8 years of experience in developing engineered in vitro cell/tissue models for modeling human lung disease and 3.5 years of experience in evaluating developmental cell signaling pathways in the lung.
I'm currently a Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Canada Fellow and the Jennifer and Robert Sturgess Fellow with CF Canada. I received my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Tufts University, advised by Prof. David Kaplan. I completed my first postdoctoral traineeship in lung mechanobiology with Prof. Celeste Nelson at Princeton University.
Besides research, I enjoy running, spending time with my family, hiking and working on my car.
